Hi, I’m Amy Houston, a Northern Kentuckyreal estate agent, mom of three amazing girls, and someone who’s just as likely to be painting a wall or styling a space as I am negotiating a deal.
My journey from Hairstylist to Realtor
For over 10 years, I’ve worked with families looking to buy or sell homes, blending local insight with a hands-on approach that keeps the process simple. Before real estate, I spent nearly 18 years behind the chair as a hairstylist, trained under editorial and celebrity artists, and owned my own salon twice. I built a career on listening, connecting, and helping people feel their best.
That same creativity and connection now guide how I approach real estate. My eye for design, attention to detail, and ability to understand what people truly want have carried over into helping clients style, market, and sell their homes. It’s a different kind of transformation—rooted in the same passion for helping people feel at home.

From Styling Hair to Styling Homes
I founded the Amy Houston Teamto serve local families who want a Realtor who’s not just professional, but personal. I believe honesty, integrity, and clear communication should always come before the sale. My clients know that I’ll tell them the truth, even when it’s not what they want to hear, and I’ll always back my advice with research, data, and experience.
Negotiation is one of my favorite parts of the job. Whether I’m helping a buyer craft the right offer or ensuring a seller gets top value, I bring strategy and calm confidence to every conversation. I don’t believe you have to be pushy to get results — just prepared.
When I’m not working with clients throughout Northern Kentuckyand Greater Cincinnati, you’ll probably find me boating with my family, planning a trip to Florida during the gray Ohio River months, or rearranging the furniture… again.
Life outside of Real Estate
At home, life is complete. I’m married to someone who works harder than I do (yes, it’s possible!) and who treats my girls like his own. My oldest, Paige, is in nursing school, juggling work and clinicals like a champ. My high schooler is introverted, sweet, and quietly brilliant. And Harper is our little firecracker who is funny, musical, and full of heart.
